EVENTS/CLASS REPS
Michaels Private School is a N.P.O (non-profit organisation) and has always encouraged parent involvement and values the link between the family and the school. The Governing Body is made up of parents, thereby enabling the parent body to play a pro-active role in the management of the school. Parent participation in major school events is voluntary, and income generated from these events assists towards improvements at the school, thus benefitting all families in the school.
The Class Reps (School Mother’s Committee) consists of a group of moms (one from each grade). They are the link between parents and staff ensuring that doors of communication remain open. They also assist with school events. The Head meets with these mom's on a regular basis to come up with fun and exciting ideas for the the months ahead and also to listen to and solve any problems that may arise.
